Mediation is billed for a full four-hour day. Occasionally, one party may agree to cover the full mediation fee as a good faith effort, in which case the cost is $1,000. This covers one hour of preparation, two hours of mediation (as most mediations are completed within this time), and one hour of post-mediation work. The total fee is due before the initial session begins. If additional time is required, it will be billed in 15-minute increments for the remainder of the day.
